Minutes of July 20, 2015 membership meeting


Monday, October 19, 2015 – MEMBERSHIP MEETING at the North Ridgeville Library at 7 PM.

Monday, September 21, 2015 – MEMBERSHIP MEETING at the North Ridgeville Library at 7 PM.

North Ridgeville Corn Festival- August 7th, 8th & 9th.  No meeting this month.



Attendance: Georgann Blair, Mary Beth Bogner, Nancy Bowman, Betty Day, Nancy Gavin, Cindy Naprestik, Betty Lou Palmer; Karen Sigsworth, Barb Sutton, Jerry Toich, Vee Valega.

Betty Lou Palmer, president, opened our meeting and introduced Cindy Noprestik, who is an art teacher in North Ridgeville. 

Program: Barb Sutton showed videos that she and Andre LeBlanc created in which she interviewed many different artists from Yankee Peddler and Shaker Woods. Was very interesting to see how the artists made their work and how much time was put in to each piece.   Thank you Barb!

Yankee Peddler Festival Sept. 12th & 13th, 19th & 20th, 26th & 27th.  Opens 10:30AM-6PM at Clay Park in Canal Fulton.

Georgann announced that she has picked up the artwork from the high school.

Finance Report – Vee Valega, our treasurer, gave the report.  Our current bank balance is $5373.46.

North Ridgeville Corn Fest Arts and Crafts Fair – Betty Lou Palmer reported that we have received 19 contracts to date for the Arts and Crafts Fair at the Corn Fest on August 7, 8 and 9.  Mary Beth will provide a basket and Trader Joe’s will be donating for the raffle also.

Thank you Karen Sigsworth for the delicious refreshments!  Everyone enjoyed the conversation and the goodies.
