North Ridgeville photographer to share 7 Secrets to Better Vacation Photography

The May meeting of the North Ridgeville Arts Council will feature the photography presentation, “Discover 7 Secrets to Better Vacation Photography.” Learn how to improve vacation photography, pictures taken around the house, sporting events and more.

North Ridgeville Photographer Mark Madere will cover how to choose a camera, creative composition with unusual camera angles, using natural light and electronic flash, how to help people look their best, enhancing photos after their taken, saving and preserving picture files to guard against loss from a computer crash, different ways to display photographs for maximum enjoyment and more.

The presentation is free and open to the public.

Madere has published two pictorial books of his images. The Golden Gate Bridge at 75 commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge with unique angles of the bridge – some which have never been taken before (http://www.blurb.com/b/4139804-the-golden-gate-bridge-at-75) and Picturesque Olmsted Falls, which reveals many unique scenes of historic Olmsted Falls (http://www.blurb.com/b/2378347-picturesque-olmsted-falls).

The meeting is on Monday, May 20th at 7 p.m. at North Ridgeville Library, 35700 Bainbridge Rd, North Ridgeville.
