Betty Palmer - North Ridgeville Corn Festival Golden Kernel Award Winner

Congratulations to our very own Betty Lou Palmer on receiving the 2011 Golden Kernel Award.

Betty Lou, current president of the North Ridgeville Arts Council, “was very surprised,” said John Butkowski, Golden Kernel Committee Chair. “She didn’t expect to get anything out of all her volunteering and community work. She does it because she loves North Ridgeville. And that’s why she deserves this award.

Started in 1982, the Golden Kernel Award is given to North Ridgeville residents who have improved the community and made it a better place to live.
