On Tuesday, June 20, 2011, the North Ridgeville Arts Council will feature Cheri Bonner from Stanton Jewelers, who will explore the finer points of what to look for when pricing your personal jewelry for sale as well as buying jewelry from an estate sale. She’ll explain the different qualities and how to recognize a well made piece and if it should be appraised. She’ll cover diamond and platinum jewelry as well as costume jewelry.
Cheri will also share tips on how to avoid having your gold jewelry being under valued by any of the “gold buyers” popping up on TV and in the newspapers.
After her presentation, Cheri will be available to look at jewelry brought in by the attendees and answer their questions.
The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at the North Ridgeville Public Library, 35700 Bainbridge Road in North Ridgeville. The presentation is free and open to the public.
